When he takes office in January, Secretary of State-elect Gregg Amore plans to push toward letting Rhode Islanders register to vote on Election Day and building a permanent museum to house the state archives.To help him get there, Amore on Monday announced his 29-member transition team and senior staff hires.The transition team will be co-chaired by Central Falls Mayor Maria Rivera and Providence state Rep. John Lombardi.He's tapped LeeAnn Byrne, now deputy chief of staff for Treasurer Seth Magaziner, as chief of staff.
