S.W. Cole Engineering Inc. in Hermon has acquired numerous companies throughout New England within the past two decades . Its latest acquisition is Paul B. Aldinger & Associates Inc. of East Providence, R.I. The new entity will be called Aldinger & Associates and will operate as a division of S.W. Cole. Paul Aldinger, who founded Paul B. Aldinger & Associates in 1990 to provide geotechnical engineering and laboratory testing services to clients in southern New England, will continue to work at the firm.
