(WLNE) — United States Attorney Zachary Cunha said Tuesday that an East Greenwich woman is expect to plead guilty to stolen valor charges. Sarah Cavanaugh, is accused of pretending to be a cancer-stricken Navy veteran, creating fake documents and medical records in her name, and stealing $250,000 in cash, donations, and services for injured veterans. She is also accused of trying to get a Purple Heart and Bronze Star, which she bought replicas of and pinned to a U.
