EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Officials are responding to a rollover crash on I-195 in East Providence. The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) said one lane is open on I-195 East after a crash near the Massachusetts and Rhode Island border blocked all travel lanes around 1:30 p.m. RIDOT said traffic is backed up to the Washington Bridge and are encouraging drivers to allow extra time for travel. No word yet on the cause of the crash or any injuries. 12 News has a crew on scene working to gather more information.
