(WLNE) — Surv Rhode Island , an organization that does simple jobs for homeowners in need, will be teaming up with Santa to spread holiday cheer to seniors this year. Pat Brown, CEO of Surv, says a quarter of Rhode Island residents are over the age of 60, and many need help at home more than physical gifts. Surv connects local workers with community service projects. The group says things like moving furniture or putting up Christmas trees can be major health risks for seniors trying to age at home.
