This is a file image of East Providence City Hall. (WLNE) EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — East Providence is celebrating its annual Day of Portugal Monday, and it wants the community to join in on the celebration. The celebration of the Portuguese flag raising with the Rhode Island Day of Portugal is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at East Providence City Hall. Gov. Dan McKee and Mayor Bob DaSilva are expected to speak at the event. Day of Portugal is officially celebrated on June 10.
