EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR)--Rhode Island State police said an 18-year-old from Spain who had been staying with family in Providence, Rhode Island, was killed in an early morning crash. According to officials, on Sunday at approximately 2:20am, Troopers from the Lincoln Barracks as well as members from the East Providence Fire Department responded to a crash involving a single motor vehicle on Route 195 West in the City of East Providence. Officials said an investigation revealed that a Honda sedan was traveling on Route 195 West in the area of the East Shore Expressway, when the vehicle lost control on the roadway during the heavy rain.
